Speaker of the Ondo State Assembly, Oladiji Olamide, who confirmed the meeting, said it would be held on Friday afternoon.
The meeting is coming amid plans by eleven lawmakers, loyal to the Ondo State Deputy governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, to declare Governor Rotimi Akeredolu incapacitated.
THEWILL gathered that the lawmakers had scheduled a plenary session for Friday, to declare Akeredolu incapacitated and Aiyedatiwa Governor.
However, Speaker Olajide confirmed that the plenary session was to declare Aiyedatiwa as Acting Governor.
