November 18, (THEWILL) – The Presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), in the 2023 general elections, Mr Peter Obi, has cautioned Benue people against voting candidates that have nothing to offer, assuring of his readiness to reduce poverty and insecurity if voted into power.

Addressing his supporters in Gboko Local Government Area, Benue state, on Friday, Mr Obi also reiterated his call to vote for only candidates like him, who they know would deliver on their promises.

“Vote for a person who knows you and knows your pains. There is poverty and suffering in the country. I’m committed to reducing them to the lowest minimum. Together, we could have a Benue that will be secured, where farmers could go to their farms and produce without any fear.”

He said he wants a Benue where children will be in school and internally displaced camps closed. Everything will be normal, assuring of his capacity to deliver on promises, as he did it while serving as governor of Anambra state in the past.
